Do those who have OCD suffer from other mental disturbances as well?

Whenever I see someone with obsessive compulsive disorder, like they have to wash their hands a million times and are scared to touch someone's hand, I sense they are "weird" not just for that but like wacky in itself, hard to explain. Do these people have other symptoms/related mental disturbances? Or is it strictly the OCD and outside that they're 100% normal?
