Why do most people dislike Jay-Z?

I mean he only has more #1 albums than Elvis. Reasonable Doubt and the Blueprint are two of the greatest albums of all time. I understand he sold out to make more money, but almost every rapper whomade it big on one album attempting selling out (Nas-Nastradamus,Kanye -808's). And his music right now comparitevely to the music that comes out mainstreamwise is better than that "You're a jerk" or "bedrock" crap right now. I understand we all have our opinions, but some don't even put him in the top 20 which is ridiculous. Chime in on your opinion if you hate him or you enjoy his music.
