What type of guitar do you recommend and personally like and what qualitys?

i like schecters my friends own them and i love to their guitars. what would you guys recommend? i liked the omen 6 what would you guys think of or name something else and what type please respond im desperate need a good beginner guitar dont tell me anything about strats there not great respond!!!!!!!!!!!!!
