Are you the type of atheist that feels sorry for religious people when their beliefs are mocked?

Do you think some other more confrontational atheists go too far sometimes? Do you think that religious people shouldn’t be mocked or ridiculed and that as long as they’re not attempting to legislate their morals or forcing schools to teach their beliefs in science clrooms then they should be treated respectfully? If you are that type of atheist, I have a problem with you; I think you’re a disgrace to atheism. I think that your timidity and lack of dedication is allowing religious people to carry out their atrocities and crimes against humanity. If you are an atheist as you say you are, then you should know that what religious people believe is bullshit and they are knowingly spreading lies and deceit for no reason other than to greedily grab at wealth and power. But maybe you disagree, maybe you think they are doing some benefit to humanity; if so, please explain why you think religious people shouldn’t be mocked and ridiculed?
