Food spoilage question. How long is crabmeat good for?

I bought 2 lbs. of crabmeat today and my kids, who unloaded the groceries, put the crabmeat in the pantry instead of the freezer. The crabmeat was sitting at room temperature for six hours. Is it still good if we cook it immediately?
